A Journey That Began in the Midst of Chaos
Three years ago, I made a life-altering decision. The pandemic had turned the world upside down, and I found myself leaving my job and welcoming a beautiful son into this world. But the real journey was only beginning.
As any loving parent would, I was determined to give my child the best possible future. However, the process of getting him tested for autism in Georgia was moving at a snail's pace. Fueled by the desire to see him thrive, I made the bold move to our nation's capital, Washington, D.C. It was a leap into the unknown, but as a single mom, I was ready to make it happen.
A Thriving Son, A Pricey City
Fast forward to today, and I'm proud to say that my son is thriving. D.C. has been our home for a while now, but as anyone who has lived in the city knows, it comes with a price – literally. The high cost of living started to weigh heavily on me, and I realized that it was time for a new chapter.
Coming Full Circle: Returning to Atlanta
And so, the next adventure begins. I'm headed back to Atlanta, where it all started, to my cozy home with the crafting room that holds countless memories. It's a return to my roots and a rekindling of my creative spirit. I'm feeling inspired like never before, ready to create and share my passion with all of you.
